this place is a lovely old pub with a great choice of ale. the car park and garden area is really clean and well kept. staff were super polite and really eager to help. the food was a bit pricey but definitely worth it, and breakfast had loads of local produce, like really nice bacon and black pudding. will defo stay again if i'm ever back in the area. thank you for an awesome stay!

The double room offered a lovely view of the garden and was very clean. Breakfast was cooked to order, with generous portions that were well-prepared. the TV could be larger, and while the location was convenient, the overall atmosphere felt a bit lacking. Parking was adequate, but some amenities did not meet modern standards.
